A dedicated high frequency driver that gives you low distortion and wide dispersion for all the high notes in your music.
These mid range drivers can withstand high temperature and humidity levels without affecting its damping properties.
The BasXPort is acoustically engineered to enhance the lower frequency range by efficiently channelling sound waves from the inner chamber to the soundstage. This allows the speaker to deliver a more pronounced mid-range for a warmer, more natural playback.

The dual RCA-to-stereo adapter lets you connect the speakers to your LCD TV, DVD player or gaming console and enjoy solid audio entertainment immediately.
Creative impressed many people with its first generation Gigaworks T40 speakers so these new versions had a lot to live up to. Thankfully, the T40 Series IIs haven't just succeeded in maintaining that reputation; they've actually gone one step further and surpassed their predecessors. Sure, they're a bit big and you can certainly get better sounding speakers if you're willing to splash the cash but for their price these are without equal.

These tall desktop speakers are a fraction of the price of most bookshelf speakers, but these sound just as good. If a 2.0 system fits your sound and space needs, then the T40 speakers are a great option.
Top 12 Best Desktop Speakers (2018)
Performance is nothing less than outstanding, having the bass port on top really helps filling the room without overwhelming the other frequencies. You can always fine tune Bass and Treble by playing with the knobs on the right speaker.

Bought a pair to replace my dead 2.1 speakers (Corsair SP2500) which had served me well for 6 years and i did not want to have to deal with a subwoofer due to wires. Set up, including attaching the plastic stands which i highly recommend due to better stability and especially angled positioning for improved sound delivery, took under fifteen minutes. Plugged into my Auzentech X-Fi Prelude sound card, i tasted first FLAC files and a couple of audio CDs, in particular songs from Sarah Brightman, Tsai Chin, Kit Chen, Journey, Pink and Metallica. Also played a couple of tracks from the Lord of the Rings sound track as well as Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and Pachelbel's Canon in D. I am no audiophile but based off my layman's ears, the Highs were very clear and sharp; the Mids carry through very well and the clarity was obvious. Sometimes even too "bright". Bass, while decent and taunt, could not compare to a dedicated 2.1 system, however. Watching videos were nice and if you are watching a Blu-ray disc off your PC, the T40s deliver audio which is actually better than majority of TV speakers. It never sounded "tinny" and it always resonated well with "fullness". Gaming is the one area which the T40s seem to be an average performer, in my humble opinion. Probably because of the lack of a subwoofer and that is no fault of the system, it is 2.0 and not 2.1, after all. Despite that, game BGM and environmental sound effects for "The Witcher 3", "Dead Space" were clear, rich and atmospheric. To say that the GigaWorks T40 is a legend and its trademark yellow cones iconic is an understatement and i wish that i had owned a pair in 2009 and then upgraded to the Series II today. Great 2.0 speakers, especially paired with a decent discreet sound card.
These are really great speakers, I had a 2.1 speaker set up before these and I just love the sound quality of these speakers.
Great sound on a médium sized room. Great value!
